10 March 2025 – Munich, Germany: European Space Imaging (EUSI) remains 100% committed to providing satellite imagery intelligence to commercial and government partners in Ukraine, as well as EU intelligence agencies and other security and humanitarian users.
Recent reports about disruptions in satellite imagery access over Ukraine refer only to data purchased by the U.S. government and shared through a specific intelligence programme. This does not affect EUSI’s operations. Maxar Technologies has also issued an official statement clarifying this distinction.
EUSI’s direct operation of the WorldView and WorldView Legion satellites via its Munich-based ground segment ensures seamless access to imagery over Ukraine. In fact, users may even experience increased capacity in the region.
“EUSI continues to work closely with EU security agencies, reinforcing Europe’s strategic autonomy in satellite intelligence,” said Adrian Zevenbergen, CEO of European Space Imaging (EUSI). “Our mission remains unchanged: to provide fast, reliable, and actionable imagery intelligence for the safety, security, and sustainability of Europe.”
