With our multi-mission ground station, European Space Imaging operates Maxar’s WorldView Satellite Constellation as they pass over Europe and North Africa. By utilising our ability to task locally, we greatly increase the effective collection capacity of the satellites to obtain the greatest quality image with minimal cloud coverage. Detailed collection scheduling and the local downlink of data provide unparelleled capabilities for optimised collections and Near Real-Time (NRT) delivery of imagery. Real-Time Weather Assessment Rapid Delivery Weather and environmental factors are analysed every 15 minutes to maximise cloud f ree coverage. Direct uplink and downlink allows us to deliver imagery in as little as 30 minutes for emergency orders. Intelligent Collection Planning Tailored Collection Every detail of a customer’s requirements are meticulously planned and assessed before each collection. Customers can define parameters of their collection such as viewing angle and time f rame. www.euspaceimaging.com | sales@euspaceimaging.com | T: +49 89 130 1420 Features & Benefits Reception Cones Direct uplink and downlink to the WorldView satellites Tailored collections over Europe and North Africa Improved image quality and cloud-free area collections due to real-time weather assessment and last-minute planning Near Real-Time delivery in as little as 30 minutes for emergency orders Ability to plan large area mapping projects, several point targets or a combination of both Flexible planning until 15 minutes before collection GeoEye-1 WorldView-1 WorldView-2 WorldView-3 Detailed collection planning to meet customer requirements Reception Cone WV-1 WV-2 WV-3 GE-1 Data Reception and Tasking Dialog VGT* Data Delivery Ground Segment Products Maxar GS Dialog * Virtual Ground Terminal Product Order Dialog cDAF End User Operator Assisted Tasking About European Space Imaging Based in Munich, Germany and established in 2002, European Space Imaging is the leading premium supplier of global very high resolution (VHR) satellite imagery and derived services to customers in Europe and North Africa. Architecture of ResNet34-UNet model

UNet architecture for semantic segmentation with ResNet34 as encoder or feature extraction part. ResNet34 is used as an encoder or feature extractor in the contracting path and the corresponding symmetric expanding path predicts the dense segmentation output.

Architecture of VGG16-UNet model

UNet architecture for semantic segmentation with VGG16 as the encoder or feature extractor. VGG16 is used as an encoder or feature extractor in the contracting path and the corresponding symmetric expanding path predicts the dense segmentation output.

Architecture of ResNet34-FCN model

In this model, ResNet34 is used for feature extraction and the FCN operation remains as is. The feature of ResNet architecture is exploited where just like VGG, as the number of filters double, the feature map size gets halved. This gives a similarity to VGG and ResNet architecture while supporting deeper architecture and addressing the issue of vanishing gradients while also being faster. The fully connected layer at the output of ResNet34 is not used and instead converted to fully convolutional layer by means of 1×1 convolution.

Architecture of VGG16-FCN model

In this model, VGG16 is used for feature extraction which also performs the function of an encoder. The fully connected layer of the VGG16 is not used and instead converted to fully convolutional layer by means of 1×1 convolution.
