Georeferenced Products

Ortho Ready Standard Imagery

For users with knowledge of remote sensing applications and image processing tools. It is projected to a constant base elevation, which is calculated on the average terrain elevation per order polygon or can be supplied by the customer.

Standard Imagery

For users with knowledge of remote sensing applications who require data of modest absolute geometric accuracy and/or large area coverage. Users of Standard Imagery products usually possess sufficient image processing tools and knowledge to manipulate and exploit the imagery for a wide variety of applications.

Basic Imagery

Permits users to perform sophisticated advanced photogrammetric processing. Each unique image in a Basic Product is processed individually; seamlines will be visible in products requiring multiple images to cover the Area of Interest (AOI). The pan-sharpening option is not available with a Basic Product.

Geometric Corrections
  • Ortho Ready Standard is projected to a plane using map projection and datum, projected to a constant base elevation to allow for orthorectification.
  • Standard Imagery is projected to a plane using map projection and datum, coarse DEM applied to normalize for topographic relief.
  • Basic Imagery has corrections for radiometric distortions. Adjustments for internal sensor geometry, optical, and sensor distortions have been performed on each scene ordered.

A- Pixel resolution varies across the image due to off-nadir viewing angle. Pixels closest to nadir have a better resolution than those farthest from nadir. Resolution varying from nadir up to 25° are reported here. DigitalGlobe can collect targets up to 45°, upon request.

+ Delivery

Georeferenced Products can be acquired directly from the DigitalGlobe archive or you can submit a new collection request. Standard Imagery is ordered by area, with a minimum purchase of 25 km2 for archive or 100 km2 tasking orders, up to a maximum of 10,000 km2 per order. If your order crosses more than one strip, one standard imagery product per scene is delivered. Products are delivered on your choice of standard digital media with Image Support Data files including image metadata.
