The DigitalGlobe Constellation

The DigitalGlobe constellation of high-resolution satellites offers incredible accuracy, agility and collection capacity, imaging more of the world in the finest level of detail. This constellation is unprecedented in the industry, enabling customers around the globe to get the truest view of the world.

Greatest Collection Capacity

The DigitalGlobe constellation today collects over 700 million sqkm of high-resolution imagery per year— building and refreshing the most comprehensive and up-to-date high-resolution imagery library in the world as well as offering tremendous tasking capacity. WorldView-2 more than tripled our multispectral collection capacity, brought intraday revisit, and added 8-band capability. WorldView-3, planned for launch 2014, will further increase the collection and double the 8-band capacity.

High Performance and Flexibility

WorldView-2

  WorldView-2

WorldView-2 is the world’s first commercial 8-band high-resolution satellite collecting at 0.46 meter* GSD pan and 1.84 meter* multi-spectral. Offering incredible agility & collection capacity it captures half-meter panchromatic resolution and 2 meter multispectral resolution across 8 spectral bands.
